“If we encounter a man of rare intellect, we should ask him what books he reads”- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Reading books is a natural therapy to reduce stress and balance our thought process. Also, it improves analytical thinking, increased vocabulary and memory. There was a ‘Scholastic Book Fair’ at the NCFE JBN campus on 5th April 2018. The overwhelming response from the parents and students was very encouraging.
“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully everyone is blessed”– Maya Angelou.
There is a lot of things in the world that can make us smile but nothing beats the invaluable joy of making someone happy.
Our school organised ‘Joy of giving’, an initiative to encourage giving and build ideals of compassion and generosity in students. Students from higher grades visited two orphanages and donated food grains, toiletries, day-to-day accessories and stationery to the needy children.
We thank all our parents who donated generously and made this initiative a huge success.
The school organised a one-day picnic to ‘Deeroot resort’. Students sang and danced all the way. The most enjoyable time for students was in the play area with swings, merry go rides and the toy train ride. It was a great fun-filled time for the students.
